DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team (4-7, 0-4 CC) defeated Catawba College (5-7) in four sets at Belk Arena on Tuesday evening.
Coming off a fourth consecutive five-set defeat, the Fleet responded in a big way, taking the first two sets over Catawba and running away down the stretch in the fourth set to get back in the win column.

Gino Briglio dished out 36 assists in the match, while also leading the Fleet with four aces. The Fort Lauderdale native also posted a team-high 13 digs, good for his third consecutive double-double.
THE TEAM
Erskine hit just .158 (42 K / 23 E / 120 TA) for the match but held Catawba to a .155 hitting percentage themselves. The Fleet were outblocked, 9 to 5, but had a siginficant 10 to 4 advantage in aces.
WHAT'S NEXT?Â
Erskine will go on the road for the first time in over two weeks, when the Fleet visit King University (3-6, 0-3 CC) on Friday at 7 p.m.
