GREENVILLE, S.C. – Vale Guerrero was named the Women's Tennis Conference Carolinas Player of the Week for the week of February 2-9, 2026.

Guerrero, a junior from Guayaquil, Ecuador, started the season with a pair of No. 2 singles wins and a No. 1 doubles win last week. In doubles, along with partner Ariana Jativa, Guerrero earned a 6-2 win over Augusta's Gonzales and Gento. In singles play, Guerrero defeated Augusta's Maria Gento 7-5, 6-3 and Georgia College's 7-5, 6-3. She helped the Fleet to a pair of 4-3 wins to begin the season and in her first spring action as a member of the Flying Fleet.

Erskine continues its home stand on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. against Anderson.
