SUMTER, S.C. – The No. 5 seed Erskine College women's tennis team defeated No. 4 seed Barton College by a 4-3 scoreline in the quarterfinal round of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championships on Thursday afternoon.
After dropping the doubles point,
Hanna Vasconez,
Vale Guerrero, and
Barbara Brito had straight-set wins in their singles matches. Then,
Ariana Jativa's third-set win in her singles match was the winning point for the Fleet, who advance to Friday's semifinals.
