CENTRAL, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (0-19, 0-14 CC) was defeated by Southern Wesleyan University (10-12, 7-8 CC) by a score of 78-67 at Tysinger Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
Erskine led 34-33 at the half and got a game-high five made threes from
Max Peeler along with a team-high 17 points from
Ruben Salazar, but the Fleet were unable to hold on to their slim halftime lead on the road.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot 46% (24-52) from the field and 35% (8-23) from three-point territory, as well as 85% (11-13) from the free throw line for the game as the Fleet scored their most points in a game since mid-January. But, the Warriors had a 12 to 3 advantage in second chance points and a 12 to 4 advantage in fast break points to edge the Fleet.
