SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (1-5) played in a pair of matches as part of the Valkyries Invitational, hosted by Converse University, on Friday afternoon.

In the first match of the day, the Fleet took on No. 1 Lynn University (5-0) and falling in straight sets, and then were defeated by Fayetteville State University (3-1) in four sets in the back half of the doubleheader.
