DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (1-6) was defeated by Mars Hill University (3-2) in straight sets at Belk Arena on Saturday afternoon in the Fleet's 2025 home opener.

THE TEAM
Erskine started hot, hitting over .350 through the opening stages of the first set but were unable to sustain that efficiency, hitting .150 (38 K / 20 E / 120 A) for the match, while the Lions posted a .306 hitting percentage and held a decided 5 to 1 advantage in blocks.

Erskine begins conference play on the road against King University (2-4) on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m.
