COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (1-3) defeated Allen University (1-2) in five sets in Adams Gymnasium on Thursday evening as the Fleet rallied back for their first win of the 2025 season.
After dropping sets two and three, Erskine battled back and won the final three points of the fifth set to earn the win. The Fleet were led by a game-high 16 kills from
Becca Yohe, who was one of three Erskine players with double digits in kills, as well as a double-double from
Meghan DeWalt (48 assists, 11 digs).

Erskine hit .225 (63 K / 31 E / 142 A) for the match, and held Allen to just a .118 hitting percentage across the five sets. The Fleet also totaled a season-high 13 aces and held a decided 63 to 36 advantage in kills.
THE PLAYER
Junior outside hitter
Jordyn Autry totaled 13 kills on just 18 swings, good for a scintillating .556 hitting percentage in the match. Autry also added three aces and seven digs to help the Fleet to a come-from-behind win.
WHAT'S NEXT?Â
Erskine takes part in the Valkyries Invitational, with a pair of matches on Friday in Spartanburg. The Fleet begin the day with a matchup against Lynn University (4-0) at noon and then turn around to face Fayetteville State University (2-1) at 3 p.m.
