LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has revealed the 2025 NFCA Division II All-Region teams, and Erskine junior
Gabby Burroughs was selected to the All-Southeast Region 2nd Team.
The 2025 squads are comprised of 208 student-athletes from 115 programs. The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted for the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2025 NFCA Division II All-America squads.
Burroughs, a junior third baseman from Greenville, South Carolina, had an excellent 2025 season at the plate. Overall, she led the Fleet in average (.480), hits (61), runs (31), home runs (13), RBI (38), on-base percentage (.535), and slugging percentage (.835). In Conference Carolinas play, Burroughs was even better, posting a remarkable .500 average and a 1.421 OPS, both of which ranked second in the conference in league play.
Burroughs was one of eight Conference Carolinas representatives on the All-Southeast Region teams and becomes the Fleet's first NFCA All-Region selection since Hannah Houge in 2021.
