GREENVILLE, S.C. – Prior to the start of the 2025 Conference Carolinas Softball Championship, the league announced their all-conference awards on Thursday, and Erskine third baseman
Gabby Burroughs earned a spot on the 1st Team.
The all-conference awards were voted on by the Conference Carolinas softball head coaches.
Burroughs, a junior from Greenville, South Carolina, had an excellent 2025 season at the plate. Overall, she led the Fleet in average (.480), hits (61), runs (31), home runs (13), RBI (38), on-base percentage (.535), and slugging percentage (.835). In conference play, Burroughs was even better, posting a remarkable .500 average and a 1.421 OPS, both of which ranked second in the conference in league play.
Francis Marion trio Paige Strickland (Player of the Year), Alyssa Poston (Pitcher of the Year), and Stacey Vallee (Coach of the Year), took home three of the individual awards, while UNC Pembroke's Alona Hanna was named Freshman of the Year. For the full release, click

Burroughs becomes the first member of the Fleet to be named to 1st Team All-Conference Carolinas since 2021 and the first hitter for Erskine since 2019.
