GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced their 2024-25 men's golf all-conference selections following the conference championship, and Erskine trio
Sam Allister,
Drew Andrews, and
Laurenz Meifels were represented on the team.
Allister, a freshman from Lisburn, Northern Ireland, earned a pair of top-20 finishes this season, including leading the Fleet at the Tennessee River Rumble, where Allister shot two-over and finished tied for 11th individually in the event.
Andrews, a freshman from Hartsville, South Carolina, saved his best performance of his rookie campaign for the Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship, where he was the second-highest Fleet finisher in the event, slotting in tied for 16th overall in the field.
Meifels, a senior from Essen, Germany, was Erskine's best finisher in three of the five events the Fleet competed in this spring. He earned Conference Carolinas Men's Golfer of the Week in late February after a five-under performance at the Spring Bulldog Clash, where Meifels was in the top 10 individually. Meifels also earned a spot on the Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team last week after a joint-fifth place finish at the conference championships. Meifels has been selected as an All-Conference Carolinas representative in three of his four years with Erskine.
The all-conference awards were chosen by the league's head coaches. King's ÅAsmund Norum was named Golfer of the Year, while Mount Olive's Oscar Lönnqvist earned Freshman of the Year, and Barton's Derek Hamm was selected as Coach of the Year. For the full release, click
