SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Erskine College men's golf team earned a fifth place finish at the 2025 Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship at the Carolina Country Club earlier this week. Erskine was led by senior
Laurenz Meifels, who finished tied for fifth individually in the event, earning him a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
CONFERENCE CAROLINAS MEN'S GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
- The 54-hole event, hosted by the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C. is a three-day tournament.
- The course played to a par of 72.
- The field consists of 10 teams and a total of 53 participants.

THE FIELD
Barton won the event with an impressive one-under scorecard in the final round, finishing nine strokes ahead of the the rest of the field. Individually, Mount Olive's Oscar Lonnquist took home the title, shooting three-under overall and edging Barton's Ryan Jahr and King's Asmund Norum by one stroke.
