SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Erskine Women's Golf Team earned a second consecutive Conference Carolinas title, retaining the trophy at the 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championships at Carolina CC earlier this week.
After winning its first ever women's golf conference title last year, Erskine followed it up with a dominant performance as the holders this season, led by individual winner
Lina Lindqvist, who's final round propelled her past the competition to become the first Erskine player to win an individual conference title. Lindqvist was joined by
Ketsiri Pingping and
Fantine Cabry in the top seven, while
Maddie McNeece and
Anni Krawinkel also finished inside the top 15 in a complete team performance from the champions.
Lindqvist, Pingping, Cabry and McNeece were each named to the All-Tournament Team.
2026 CONFERENCEÂ CAROLINAS WOMEN'S GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS
- The event was 54 holes and hosted by the Carolina CC in Spartanburg, S.C.
- The course played to a par of 72.
- The field consisted of 12 teams and a total of 68 participants, including subs.
FULL RESULTS
Fueled by an impressive eight-over showing in the opening round, the Fleet played most of the week with a sizeable lead, finishing at least 26 strokes ahead of the field.
Lina Lindqvist surpassed Belmont Abbey's Ella Wiklander on the back nine of the final round to take home the first Conference Carolinas individual title in Erskine history.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine earns automatic qualification to the 2026 NCAA Division II South Regional, which will take place from May 4-6 at the Cleveland CC in Cleveland, Tennessee, as the Fleet have qualified for the national tournament for the second straight year. The NCAA selections will be announced on Sunday, April 26.
