HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1: Coker 9-1 Erskine
At home for the first time in 2025, Erskine went through the first two innings of the opening game of the day scoreless. But, the visiting Cobras found a breakthrough in the third inning, scoring three times in the frame. Senior catcher
Peyton Rabon got the Fleet on the board with solo home run in the sixth inning, but the Fleet offense was held in check through most of Game 1.
Game 2: Augusta 9-2 Erskine
In the back half of the doubleheader, Coker scored twice in the opening frame to take an early lead. However, Erskine answered back in the third inning, with RBI singles from Savannah Koester and
Brooke Patterson to tie the game at 2. But, the Cobras regained the lead in the next half-inning and scored five times in the fifth inning, as they pulled away from the Fleet in Game 2.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine goes on the road for a doubleheader against USC Aiken (5-3) on Tuesday, starting at noon.
