DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (0-6, 0-1 CC) was defeated by Emmanuel University (2-6, 2-1 CC) by a score of 62-56 at Belk Arena on Wednesday night in the Fleet's home and Conference Carolinas opener.
The Fleet started well and went back-and-forth with Emmanuel throughout the opening 15 minutes, and Erskine had by far its best defensive performance of the young season. However, the Fleet endured shooting struggles in the second half, which allowed the Lions to preserve their lead down the stretch.
