FERRUM, Va. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (0-7, 0-2 CC) was defeated by Ferrum College (2-5, 2-1 CC) by a score of 76-48 at Swartz Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
The Fleet, despite a rough shooting first half, went into the break trailing by just four. However, the hosts shot over 50% from the field and were 9-for-16 from three-point in the second half as the Fleet were unable to keep up.

Erskine shot just 35% (20-57) from the field and just 19% (4-21) from the three-point line, as well as just 44% (4-9) from the free throw line. The Fleet forced just four turnovers and were outscored in points off turnovers, 16 to 2.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine has the remainder of the month off, as the Fleet won't take the court again until Saturday, January 3rd for a home battle against Southern Wesleyan University (1-7, 0-4 CC) at 4 p.m.
