YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (3-13, 2-7 CC) was defeated by Young Harris College (6-11, 3-6 CC) in five sets The Harp Recreation & Commencement Center on Wednesday evening.
Erskine won the opening set convincingly and took a thrilling third set to get in the driver's seat in the match. The Fleet battled in the next two sets, leading Set 4, 23-22, and clawed back into Set 5, winning the first two YHC match points, but were unable to get over the hump in a hard-fought divisional matchup.

Erskine hit .166 (63 K / 31 E / 193 A) for the match, edging Young Harris, who posted a .159 hitting percentage. But, the Mountain Lions tallied double digits in blocks and aces, which proved to be the difference.
