DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (4-13, 3-7 CC) defeated Southern Wesleyan University (6-7, 4-5 CC) in five sets at Belk Arena on Friday evening.
After dropping the first two sets, Erskine clawed back and won a thrilling five-set match against SWU, as the Fleet completed their first reverse sweep since 2015.

THE PLAYER
The Fleet got production from a number of different players in their comeback win on Friday, but arguably none more so than from
Ella Dietrich. The sophomore middle blocker totaled 12 kills and hit nearly .400 in the match, while also adding a career-best six aces and a pair of blocks.
THE TEAM
Erskine hit .126 (54 K / 29 E / 199 A) for the match, edging SWU, who posted a .100 hitting percentage. Erskine got a season-high 13 blocks and held a 10 to 6 advantage in aces in the Fleet's reverse sweep of the Warriors.

Erskine is back in action on Saturday afternoon to host Lees-McRae College (4-12, 4-5 CC) at 2 p.m. inside Belk Arena.
