ROME, Ga. – The Erskine College women's soccer team (2-4-2, 1-4-1 CC) played to a scoreless draw against Shorter University (1-5-2, 0-4-2 CC) at Ben Brady Field on Tuesday.

THE TEAM
Erskine outshot the Hawks 13 to 7 and had a 9 to 6 advantage in shots on target. Goalkeeper Valentina Santana earned her first clean sheet of the season, totaling six saves in the contest. But, despite creating the majority of the goal-scoring opportunities in the match, the Fleet were unable to find a breakthrough.

However, the Fleet picked up their fourth point of the season in divisional play, drawing them level to Young Harris for third place in the Southwest.

Erskine concludes this road stretch with a trip to the aforementioned Young Harris Mountain Lions (4-4-2, 3-2-2 CC) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
