HOW IT HAPPENED
Wrapping up a three-game road trip and a stretch of five away matches in their last six, the Fleet struggled in the opening stages of the match. A 16th-minute goal gave the hosts the lead, but Erskine stayed within one through the first 30 minutes, until YHC scored twice in a minute to take a 3-0 lead into the half. The Mountain Lions added their second-half goals in the final minutes of the match.
FROM COACH HUTTO
"We learned a lot from this loss. We had a bad day at the end of a long away stint. It happens. We will regroup and look forward to a good matchup at home on Wednesday."
WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine returns home to begin a stretch where five of its final six games of the regular season will be at home, which begins against Emmanuel University (3-6-2, 3-4-1 CC) on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
