INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

- Logan Coldren led the Fleet offense with 94 rushing yards and a touchdown.
- Josh Brown led a short-handed Erskine receiving core with 7 catches for 64 yards, both game highs, while Jo Burson added a pair of touchdowns.
- Jeremy Bland (11 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack) and Ethan Knox (2 interceptions) led an Erskine defense that did not allow a point after halftime in the Fleet's come-from-behind win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Shorter opened up an early 10-0 lead, Breylon Boyd led the Fleet on a 13-play drive that ended with a two-yard touchdown to Jo Burson to get Erskine on the board early in the second quarter.
- The Hawks answered back and scored a touchdown with 1:55 left in the first half to go in front, 19-7, but an Ethan Knox interception right before the half allowed the Fleet to take advantage of a short field as Logan Coldren scored from six yards out.
- Late in the third quarter, Burson found the endzone again, this time via a 24-yard pass from Killmer to give the Fleet their first lead of the day.
- Christian Bridwell added a 24-yard field goal with six minutes remaining in the game to give the Fleet some cushion.
- Jeremy Bland stepped up on the next Shorter drive with a key sack on third down, and on the last Hawks drive, the Fleet forced a turnover on downs in the final seconds to secure a road win.
