SCORING SUMMARY
1st Quarter:
  • Erskine took the ball to start the game and promptly went 76 yards on seven plays, capped by an 18-yard rushing touchdown from Rashad Luckey to open the scoring.
  • After a fumble set up the Fleet in prime field position, senior QB Craig Pender showed off his athleticism with a 37-yard scramble into the endzone that doubled the Fleet lead.
  • Another SAU fumble put the Erskine offense in the redzone again, and a 30-yard field goal from Dylan Beauford extended Erskine's advantage.
2nd Quarter:
  • A blocked field goal by the Fleet kept the visitors off the board, and the Fleet offense kept on rolling as Pender connected with Taylor Rhodes for a 47-yard touchdown early in the second quarter to make it a 24-0 game.
3rd Quarter:
  • The opening possession of the second half saw the Knights offense go three-and-out, and after Quincy Bias blocked the ensuing punt, Erskine took over on the goal line. Rashad Luckey punched it in on the next play for his second touchdown of the day.
  • St. Andrews fumbled again on its next drive, and Joshua Kamoto scooped up the loose ball and ran it in for the first defensive touchdown by the Fleet since 2021.
  • Pender found redshirt freshman wide receiver Rodshaun Dorsey for his first collegiate touchdown on a fade route from four yards out on Erskine's next possession.
4th Quarter
  • Freshman QB Breylon Boyd got some reps in the fourth quarter and connected with another freshman, Trevor Milliken, on a scramble drill for a four-yard touchdown to put the finishing touches on a 52-point outburst from the Fleet offense, their most points scored since 2021 (59 points vs Virginia University of Lynchburg). It was also Erskine's first shutout since the program was revived back in 2020.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet continue a long homestand to open the 2024 season with a tall test against Division-I opponent, Presbyterian College (0-1), next Saturday at 7 p.m. This will be Erskine's first matchup against a Division-I team since the program restarted five years ago.
