Erskine Women's Tennis | Fleet honored at Football Homecoming game

DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine women's tennis 2023-2024 team was honored at halftime of the Erskine Football game as part of homecoming festivities over the weekend.

The Fleet posted a 19-4 overall record last season, including going 8-1 in conference play. The season was highlighted by a remarkable 14-match winning streak, which was the best by an Erskine squad since 2012. Erskine shared the Conference Carolinas regular season title in a three-way title but left no doubt at the Conference Carolinas Tournament, winning both of their matches by a 4-2 scoreline and securing their 13th Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship under Head Coach Calhoun Parr.

Erskine had two all-conference selections in Emma Bentz and Ariana Jativa, as well as three all-tournament honorees in Rupal Kharb and Teodora Stefanovic, as well as Bentz, who was named Tournament MVP.

The Fleet wrapped up their 2024 fall individual season last month and are now preparing for the upcoming 2025 campaign, looking to defend their conference title. Erskine begins the season with a four-match road trip, starting at Newberry on February 1.
