CENTRAL, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (6-18, 2-12 CC) was defeated by Southern Wesleyan University (9-12, 6-9 CC) in fou sets at Tysinger Gymnasium on Saturday.

Despite the loss, junior opposite hitter
Ali Angell filled the stat sheet, recording a double-double with 16 kills and 14 digs, to go along with 3 blocks and a pair of aces. Angell hit .333 for the match and Saturday was her first double-double of the season and second of her career.
THE TEAM
Erskine hit .128 (52 K / 32 E / 156 A) for the match, while SWU posted a .182 hitting percentage as a team. The Fleet totaled 6 aces and 8 blocks in the match, basically matching the Warriors in almost every statistical category.
