CENTRAL, S.C. – The Erskine College women's volleyball team (6-18, 2-12 CC) was defeated by Southern Wesleyan University (9-12, 6-9 CC) in fou sets at Tysinger Gymnasium on Saturday.

THE PLAYER
Despite the loss, junior opposite hitter Ali Angell filled the stat sheet, recording a double-double with 16 kills and 14 digs, to go along with 3 blocks and a pair of aces. Angell hit .333 for the match and Saturday was her first double-double of the season and second of her career.

THE TEAM
Erskine hit .128 (52 K / 32 E / 156 A) for the match, while SWU posted a .182 hitting percentage as a team. The Fleet totaled 6 aces and 8 blocks in the match, basically matching the Warriors in almost every statistical category.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine has its final home game of the regular season, taking on conference newcomer, Shorter University (12-13, 7-7 CC) on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
