DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (0-3) was defeated by Emory & Henry University (1-2) by a score of 86-62 at Belk Arena on Wednesday in the Fleet's home opener.
Erskine made 14 threes and shot 48% from beyond the arc, as six different members of the Fleet connected from long range, but Erskine was unable to hold onto a halftime lead.

Erskine shot just 37% (19-51) from the field and an impressive 48% (14-29) from the three-point line, but just 59% (10-17) from the free throw line. The Fleet got 38 points from their bench but were outscored in the paint, 32 to 10.
