FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (0-2) was defeated by Anderson University (2-0) by a score of 79-52 at the Shaw Athletic Center on Saturday to wrap up the weekend's Southeast Regional Challenge.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot just 27% (16-60) from the field and 18% (7-40) from the three-point line, as well as 62% (13-21) from the free throw line. The Fleet had to 12 to 7 advantage in steals, led by a career-high 7 steals from sophomore Grant Lovette, but Erskine was outrebounded, 54 to 21.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine returns home for its home opener against Emory & Henry University (0-2) on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Belk Arena. The Fleet knocked off the Wasps in overtime in Virginia last season, 72-69, on a buzzer-beater from Jayden Byrd, who scored a career-best 26 points.
