CENTRAL, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (3-10, 0-6 CC) was defeated by Southern Wesleyan University (3-15, 2-5 CC) by a score of 86-62 at Tysinger Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

Erskine shot just 34% (22-65) from the field, and 24% (7-29) from the three-point line, as well as 58% (11-19) from the free throw line. The Fleet were undone by a blistering shooting performance from SWU, who made 18 threes on 35 attempts.

Erskine stays on the road for a tall test at the southwest division leaders, Emmanuel University (14-4, 6-1 CC), on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
