SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Erskine College women's lacrosse team (2-4, 0-3 CC) was defeated by Converse University (6-5, 2-1 CC) by a score of 21-7 at Weisiger Stadium on Tuesday evening. Jenna Varner scored three times for the Fleet, while  Korenza Heath, and Kristie Fisher each scored a pair of goals for the Erskine attack.

THE PLAYER
Jenna Varner scored a career-high three goals and led the Fleet with six shots on target.

THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot by the Valkyries 37 to 25, and the Fleet totaled 15 draw controls, led by 10 from Kristie Fisher.
