DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's volleyball team is ranked at No. 8 in the latest Off the Block Division II Coaches Poll that was released on Wednesday afternoon. This is the first time the Fleet have been ranked in the poll this season.

Erskine is on a five-match winning streak after a four-set victory over Benedict College on Tuesday evening, and the Fleet have won four straight in Conference Carolinas play, including a home win over the reigning conference champion North Greenville Crusaders last week.

The Fleet are back in action next Thursday, March 9 on the road at Kentucky State University at 7 p.m. to start a three-match road trip. Erskine's next home match will be on Friday, March 17 against the University of Mount Olive at 7 p.m.

A national voting committee comprised of coaches from the more than 25 Division II teams determines the weekly rankings for the Division II National Coaches Poll. The Division II National Coaches Poll will be released on the Off the Block website every Wednesday during the regular season.
