HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1: Erskine 2-1 Georgia College

Kaley Ingle struck out a pair of batters in her first inning of work and the Fleet wasted no time giving their starting pitcher an early lead. Mary Elizabeth Ballard led off the bottom half with a double and scored on a wild pitch. Ingle battled her way through the next few frames, stranding runners on base in nearly every inning, and preserving a 1-0 Erskine lead. Then, in the bottom of the fifth inning, following an Amber Clark double, Kyndall Chandler doubled the Erskine lead with an RBI single. That was a much-needed insurance run, as Georgia College got on the board with a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning, but Ingle stranded the tying run at third as she induced a flyout to the next batter, sealing a one-run victory in Game 1.

Game 2: Georgia College 15-2 Erskine (Final / 5 innings)
Following a pitchers' duel in Game 1, the back half of the doubleheader was anything but that. Georgia College opened the scoring with three runs in the top of the second, but the Fleet wasted no time getting back into the game, thanks to a two-run home run from Kenzie Eagleman in the bottom half, her fourth big fly of the season. However, Game 2 belonged to the Bobcats as they won it by a score of 15-2.

THE PLAYER
Kyndall Chandler went 2-for-2 with a walk at the plate in Game 1, including an RBI single in the sixth inning that proved to be the difference in Erskine's Game 1 win.

WHAT'S NEXT?
