GREENVILLE, S.C. - Kacper Rybarczyk and Francisco Pomar of Erskine have been named the weekly award winners for Conference Carolinas men's volleyball for the week ending March 12, 2023.
 
Rybarczyk was selected as the Player of the Week, while Pomar garnered Specialist of the Week accolades.
 
A junior outside hitter from Warsaw, Poland, Rybarczyk finished last week hitting .317 for Erskine. He averaged 2.86 kills per set to go along with registering nine digs and three blocks in two matches. He finished Erskine's match with Lewis with 13 kills, seven digs, two service aces and two blocks. Rybarczyk is third in Conference Carolinas league matches with 3.90 kills per set.
 
A redshirt junior setter from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Pomar finished last week with 60 assists, eight digs and five blocks. He finished Erskine's match with Lewis with 48 assists, eight digs and five blocks. Pomar is first in Conference Carolinas in league matches with 11.45 assists per set.

This is the fourth straight week the Fleet have swept the awards, and the third time Pomar has been named Specialist of the Week, as well as the second Player of the Week award for Rybarczyk this season.

Erskine returns to conference action on Tuesday night at Emmanuel College at 7 p.m.
