GREENVILLE, S.C. - Kacper Rybarczyk and Francisco Pomar of Erskine have been named the weekly award winners for Conference Carolinas men's volleyball for the week ending Feb. 19, 2023.
 
Rybarczyk was selected as the Player of the Week, while Pomar garnered Specialist of the Week accolades.
 
A junior outside hitter from Warsaw, Poland, Rybarczyk averaged 4.5 kills and 1.9 digs per set in two conference wins last week for Erskine. He hit an impressive .420 in the two victories. Rybarczyk concluded Erskine's four-set road win over Barton on Feb. 17 with 13 kills, eight digs, three blocks, two assists and one ace. In a 3-1 road win at Mount Olive, Rybarczyk hit .568 while recording 23 kills, seven digs, two blocks, two aces and two assists.
 
A redshirt junior setter from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Pomar averaged 12.0 assists per set to go along with 1.9 digs per set. In Erskine's win over Barton, Pomar collected a double-double with 52 assists and 10 digs. Pomar's week closed with 44 assists, five digs and one ace in the Flying Fleet victory over Erskine.

Pomar is the first Erskine player to be named CC Specialist of the Week this year, while Rybarczyk joins Edgerrin Austin as members of the Fleet to win Player of the Week in 2023.
