GREENVILLE, S.C. - Edgerrin Austin of Erskine and Jackson Lahey of Mount Olive have been chosen as the weekly award winners for Conference Carolinas men's volleyball for the week ending Jan. 15, 2023.

Austin was selected as the Player of the Week, while Lahey collected Specialist of the Week accolades.

A redshirt junior from Joliet, Ill., Austin averaged 4.4 kills per set in a match against Central State this past weekend. The outside hitter ended the match with 22 kills, three blocks and two assists. Austin hit .421 in the match.

A freshman setter from Pembroke Pines, Florida, Lahey averaged 10.71 assists per set in two matches last week. In Mount Olive's season-opening win over Tusculum, Lahey finished with 49 assists, one solo block and a kill in the four-set victory. In Mount Olive's match with Lincoln Memorial, Lahey tallied 26 assists to go along with two digs and a solo block.
