Second Quarter:
The score remained 3-0 for awhile in the second quarter, but Newberry returned a punt 45 yards for a touchdown with just over 4 minutes remaining in the half. Az-Zahir Smith blocked the ensuing extra point, making it a 9-0 game. But, the Fleet fumbled on the first play of their next drive and Newberry took advantage of the short field with a touchdown, before adding a field goal right before the half, taking an 18-0 lead into the break.

Third Quarter:
Erskine was forced to punt on the opening drive of the second half, but Zander Gravely pinned the Wolves inside their own 1-yard line on their first drive of the half. However, Newberry marched 99 yards down the field and scored a touchdown, making it 25-0.

Fourth Quarter:
The Wolves added another score just a few plays into the fourth quarter, extending their lead to 32-0 before the Fleet offense showed some signs of life. Bryce Jeffcoat went 4-for-5 for 65 yards on the drive, which was capped by a 16-yard catch and run to Kaavon Parker that got the Fleet on the board. Newberry turned the ball over on downs on the ensuing drive and Erskine took over at the Wolves' 27-yard line. On the very next play, Jeffcoat found Trevarus Walker for another Erskine touchdown, making it a 32-14 game. The Fleet recovered an onside kick moments later and once again started with the ball in Newberry territory. The Fleet moved the ball into the redzone were stopped on 4th-down at the 7-yard line, all but ending any chances of a comeback as Erskine fell 32-14.
