MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Erskine College women's soccer team (0-6-1, 0-3-1 CC) was defeated by the University of Mount Olive (4-3, 2-0 CC) by a score of 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Amon Field.

THE MATCH
Erskine entered Saturday's match coming off their first points of conference play in the midweek, but Mount Olive proved to be a bigger test for the Fleet. The Trojans, projected to finish third in the conference, got a first-half hat trick from Tiana Hill, giving them a 3-0 lead at the break. UMO added another in the 79th-minute on a goal from Riley Baker, as they beat Erskine 4-0.

Erskine was outshot 35 to 1 and Mount Olive tallied 18 shots on target.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet return home for a pair of matches next week, starting with a bout against Belmont Abbey College (1-3-2, 1-1-1 CC) on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. The Crusaders beat the Fleet 4-0 in Belmont last season.
