CENTRAL, S.C. – The Erskine College women's lacrosse team (0-7, 0-4 CC) was defeated by Southern Wesleyan University (5-6, 4-1 CC) by a score of 22-9 at Childs Field on Saturday afternoon. Erskine trailed just 6-5 after the first quarter but were unable to keep up with the Warriors after the opening period.
Faith Flanagan and
Aleiza Manns tallied three goals apiece while
Chandler Werner scored twice and
Julia Richey found the back of the net for the Fleet.
THE PLAYER
Aleiza Manns had a joint team-high three goals for Erskine on just three shots attempted and added four draw controls as well.
THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot 45 to 33 and lost the turnover battle 31 to 17.

Erskine returns home after a road trip for a match against Converse University (0-8, 0-3 CC) on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at Huggins Field.
