DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's lacrosse team (1-7, 1-4 CC) took down Converse University (0-9, 0-4 CC) at home on Huggins Field, for their first win of the season. Senior Attacker,
Faith Flanagan, led the way for the Fleet, scoring 6 goals, including one to end the strong Valkyrie push in the second half. The Senior from Stratford, Ontario was present on both sides of the field, with all of her goals being unassisted, 3 of which came from "coast to coast" runs.
THE PLAYER
Faith Flanagan was dominant in every category throughout the game and looked to be the strongest player on the field all night. Scoring all of her goals unassisted, Faith made her presence known throughout the matchup.
THE TEAM
Erskine outshot Converse 40 to 29 and won on the defensive end, leading Converse 11-2 in saves.

Erskine will travel to Mount Olive, NC to take on the Trojans of Mount Olive on Saturday, April 2nd at 3:00 PM.
