SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (0-9, 0-3 CC) was defeated by Converse University (4-5, 3-1 CC) by a score of 78-53 at the Tom & Tracy Hannah Gym on Saturday afternoon.

Erskine shot 40% (21-53) from the field and 20% (3-15) from the three-point line. The Fleet were 62% (8-13) from the free throw line and had all 12 of the games fast break points.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine stays on the road to take on Chowan University (5-4, 3-2 CC) on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. The Fleet took down the Hawks in Murfreesboro last season, 79-73, behind 22 points from Lanyc Shuler.
