MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (0-10, 0-4 CC) was defeated by Chowan University (6-4, 4-2 CC) by a score of 93-75 at Bob Burke Court on Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore Lanyc Shuler exploded for 34 points for the Fleet on an efficient 12-16 shooting from the field and burying all 3 of his three-pointers.

Erskine shot 46% (29-63) from the field and 37% (7-19) from the three-point line. The Fleet were 71% (10-14) from the free throw line and outgained Chowan on points in the paint, 38 to 24.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
The Fleet return home for their final game of 2022, when they take on Francis Marion University (3-6, 2-2 CC) on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. The Patriots won both meetings last season, including a 73-61 win in Due West.
