BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Erskine College men's basketball team (0-6, 0-1 CC) was defeated by King University (2-3, 1-0 CC) in overtime by a score of 92-88 in the Fleet's Conference Carolinas opener at the King Student Center Complex on Tuesday afternoon. Tavis Bridges exploded with a career-best, 23 points and 8 rebounds to lead the Fleet.

Erskine remains on the road for a non-conference bout with Carson-Newman University (2-1) on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. The Eagles defeated Erskine, 72-62, in Jefferson City last year.
