TOCCOA, Ga. – The Erskine College men's golf team concluded their 2022 fall season at the McCoy Wright Currahee Collegiate Invitational, co-hosted by Erskine along with Anderson University, over the past two days. The Fleet finished in 11th place as a team in the event.
  
MCCOY WRIGHT CURRAHEE COLLEGIATE INVITATIONAL

• The 54-hole event, hosted by Currahee Golf Course in Toccoa, Ga. is a two-day tournament.
• The course played to a par of 71.
• The field consists of 15 teams along with 5 individuals, for a total of 80 participants.

THE FIELD
The co-hosts, Anderson University, claimed the title with a five-over par performance, earning them a 3-stroke victory over Lincoln Memorial University. The Trojans had four golfers finish in the top-15 individually in a balanced effort. LMU's Harry Lord won the individual portion of the event with an 4-under par 212 (69-71-72) to help the Railsplitters earn a 2nd-place finish.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Fleet will have the winter period as they prepare for their Spring Season, which begins at the Spring Kick-Off Invitational on February 13 and 14.
