BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Erskine College women's soccer team (0-5, 0-3 CC) was defeated by Lees-McRae College (5-2-0, 2-1-0 CC) by a score of 5-0 at Tate Field on Saturday afternoon.

THE SERIES
The Bobcats now lead the all-time series 12-5-0 and have won two straight meetings.
THE MATCH
Lees-McRae outshot the Fleet 10 to four in the first half with six shots being on target and three of them finding the back of the net as goals from Alexa Todd, Haley Lowman, and Gen Porsche gave LMC a commanding 3-0 halftime lead. The Bobcats controlled the second half as well and two goals just eight minutes apart from each other early in the half finished off a 5-0 win for Lees-McRae over the Fleet.
THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot by Lees-McRae 14 to six and seven to four in shots on target. Erskine committed nine fouls in the match to Lees-McRae's four.

The Fleet are back at home on Wednesday, September 29 as they take on Conference Carolinas foe Converse University (1-5-2, 1-2-0 CC) at 5:00 p.m. The Fleet lead the all-time series 9-5-0 and have won four straight meetings in the series.
