THE SERIES
The Warriors now lead the all-time series 7-2-1 and are unbeaten in their last five trips to Due West including four victories.

THE MATCH
In just the third minute, the Warriors' Bryanna Pickens fired the visitors in front as she put home a low cross from close distance to put Southern Wesleyan in front early, 1-0. SWU continued to have control of the first half and Pickens doubled their lead in the 25th minute when she found the bottom corner from the top of the box to give Southern Wesleyan a 2-0 halftime lead where they outshot Erskine six to three. After a lethargic first half, the Fleet were close to dominant in the second period, outshooting SWU 12 to one, but never threatened the Warriors' goal until Reagan Gibbs scored off a Jane Ashley Meredith assist where the senior took on a number of SWU players before laying off for Gibbs who found the back of the net, which made for an entertaining final few minutes. The Fleet tallied three more shots but none were on target as the Warriors held on for a 2-1 win.

THE PLAYER
Freshman Reagan Gibbs had a team-high four shots including Erskine's lone goal in the 86th minute.

THE TEAM
Erskine outshot SWU 15 to seven and eight to four in shots on target. The Warriors had a six to two advantage in corner kicks.
