GREENVILLE, S.C. – This week Conference Carolinas released their preseason polls for the upcoming season for women's soccer, men's soccer, and women's volleyball. The Fleet are picked to finish 11th in the league in women's soccer and women's volleyball while the men's soccer team is projected to finish in third place. 

Erskine's men's soccer team is the reigning regular season Conference Carolinas champions following a perfect 6-0 shortened season in the spring, but are behind conference newcomer Francis Marion as well as Chowan in the fall 2021 preseason polls. The Patriots join the conference and, following a 3-3-2 campaign last season in the Peach Belt Conference are picked to win the Conference Carolinas in their first year as a member.

Men's Soccer Preseason Poll

The Fleet women's soccer team is coming off a 2-5-2 season and are predicted to finish 11th in the league this year, with the reigning champions, Mount Olive picked to defend their title, as the Trojans earned 10 of the possible 13 first place votes.

Erskine's women's volleyball team held 4-9 overall record last year and went 3-7 in the Conference. The Fleet are also projected to finish 11th in Conference Carolinas this year, as King is tabbed to win the conference in this year's preseason poll. The conference tournament champion Tornado edged out the regular-season champions, North Greenville, for the top spot.
