DUE WEST--    Due to low registration numbers and a miscommunication with the Fort Club in NInety-Six, SC, Erskine Director of Athletics Mark Peeler announced on Tuesday afternoon the 2025 Erskine Open set for Friday, October 31st has been canceled. Peeler indicated that plans are underway to conduct a new tournament this spring with a different format which will coincide with Erskine's Alumni Day on Saturday, April 18th. Once plans are confirmed, details for the tournament will be released. The 2025 Erskine Open was scheduled to be part of Homecoming festivities on Saturday, November 1st. Erskine will play its first Homecoming football game in Due West in over 80 years as the Fleet take on Conference Carolinas foe Chowan University at Oates Stadium with a scheduled 1:30 pm kick-off.
