THE SERIES
The Trojans have now won the previous five meetings in the all-time series, including the season sweep of the Fleet this season.

THE MATCH
Set 1: Mount Olive jumped out to a 4-1 and held the momentum for much of the early stages of the set. Although the Fleet pulled within a single point at 16-15 with a kill and consecutive errors by the Trojans, they could not come all the way back as Mount Olive claimed the first set, 25-20.

Set 2: The closest set of the evening occurred in the second as the Fleet secured the opening point off a Kacper Rybarczyk kill. With the set tied at 17-17, the squads traded points back and forth until it was 20-20. Two service aces and a kill gave the Trojans a three-point lead, that was enough for the hosts to hang onto. Mount Olive took a two set to none lead, 25-22.

Set 3: The Fleet battled back to avoid the sweep in the third set, claiming the third, 25-21. The set was tied at 15-15, but the Fleet spouted off five consecutive points to push ahead 20-15 which allowed the Fleet to take the set.

Set 4: As he did in the second, Rybarczyk opened the fourth with a kill. After the set was tied at 8-8, the Fleet could not pull within more than two points. In fact, a five-point stretch for the Trojans put the set in their hands at 21-12. Mount Olive took the fourth and final set 25-14.

THE PLAYER
Edge Austin accounted for nearly half of the Fleet's 51 digs, by hitting .279 (22 K / 10 E / 43 TA) with six digs and one assist.
