THE SERIES
The Tornado completed the season sweep of the Fleet and now have won the last six matches in the all-time series. Since King joined Conference Carolinas, the Tornado own a 10-6 edge in all matches.

THE MATCH
Set 1: The teams traded points to open the match before King's offense got warmed up. The Tornado recorded a match-high 13 kills to pave their way to a set one win. In fact, an uncontested six-point run allowed the Tornado to pull away and ultimately win the opening set, 25-15.

Set 2: After surrendering the opening point, set two started off much more favorably for the Fleet. Erskine got out to a 6-3 advantage and led by three at 9-6 before the King made their move. A five-point stretch, but the hosts back in control and ahead 11-9. The Fleet tied the match late at 18-18 and even went ahead by two points at 23-21, but a pair of kills and an attack error gave King the lead back. The Fleet extended the set by a single point in the second set, but fell 26-24.

Set 3: The third set opened with a kill from King and then a pair of attack errors by the Tornado front line. The 2-1 lead was the only advantage Erskine would hold in the third and eventual final set. A 6-0 run by the Tornado expanded their lead from one to seven at 12-5 and put the third set out of reach. King held on for a 25-18 win in set three to secure the match.

THE PLAYER
Kaile Tuisamatatele had a team-best eight points by recording seven kills and two blocks.

THE TEAM
