THE SERIES
With the split, Erskine trails the all-time series with Belmont Abbey College by a game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1: The Fleet played small ball to get the game one result over the Crusaders, smacking five RBI singles in the win. Dalton Reeves had a pair of one base hits in the second and third innings. Also, in the third, Drew Yniesta's bat brought in two runs with a single to right field in the second while Yniesta was brought in by Dayan Reinoso's single to center. Belmont Abbey added a pair of runs in the fourth, which was nearly matched by the Fleet in the bottom half of the innings when Yniesta hit a sacrifice fly to center field. BAC tied the game at 7-7 in the top of the sixth inning, but Cody Forster nailed a two-out, walk-off single to center field to win the game for the Fleet 8-7. Erskine reliever Johnny Hummel (2-0) came on to pitch 1.2 innings and got the win.

GAME 2: As opposed to the first game, game two was marked with long balls all throughout. A total of four home runs were hit by both teams. Both teams went yard in the fifth, the Crusaders receiving a solo shot, while the Fleet were boosted by a three-run homer from Livan Reinoso. With the Fleet leading 3-1, the game shifted to the ninth where the damage occurred. A five spot by the Crusaders gave the visitors the 6-3 win and a split on the day. Livan Reinoso (0-1) came on in relief in the ninth inning taking his first loss of the season.

THE PLAYER
GAME 1: Drew Yniesta went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, a run scored and a walk.
