THE SERIES
With the Fleet loss tonight, the Bulldogs extend their advantage in the all-time series to 39-14. Erskine has not won in Wilson, N.C. since the 2013-14 season when Erskine's Roderick Perkins had a game-high 26 points in a 87-72 win.

THE GAME
The Fleet got off to a hot start, outscoring the Bulldogs 9-2 in the game's first three minutes, though Barton then responded with a decent three-minute span of their own. The Bulldogs went on a 12-0 run of their own to take a 14-9 with 14:26 to play in the first half. With just over five minutes remaining in the first half, the Fleet pulled to within two (31-29) off a made free throw by
Alex Cunningham. Barton took a 48-35 advantage into the break. In the second half, the Bulldogs only outscored the Fleet by two, 46-44 to claim a 94-79 victory.
THE PLAYER
Rod Culver came off the bench to produce a team-high 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor. Culver also added two rebounds and an assist.
THE TEAM
Erskine shot 29-66 (43.9%) and was 6-23 (26.1%) from beyond the arc. The Fleet were also 15-20 (75.0%) from the foul line. Barton (48) collected 21 more rebounds than the Fleet (27), though the Fleet produced more steals and blocks.

The Fleet and Bulldogs complete their back-to-back tomorrow afternoon with a tip-off time of 2:00 PM.
