DUE WEST, S.C. – Three members of the Erskine Flying Fleet tennis team were featured in the 2019-20 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) academic awards released on Tuesday. Grace Coleman (FR-Bentonville, AR), Faith Wright (SO- Columbia, MO), and Eileen Rickert (JR-Charleston, SC) each were named Scholar-Athletes and earned team honors.

The ITA released their NCAA Division II Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams on Tuesday with seven Conference Carolinas women's teams and six men's teams earning All-Academic Team accolades.
 
According to the ITA, to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:

• have a grade-point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
• be listed on the institutional eligibility form

Acording to the ITA, to be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:

• have a team grade-point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale)
• all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
• all varsity letterwinners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
