DUE WEST, S.C. – Erskine Director of Athletics,
Mark Peeler, announced Tuesday the hiring of both
Andrew Preston and
Ben Auten to oversee the Flying Fleets' sports information office.
Preston will serve as the primary Sports Information Director while Auten will serve as his assistant.

Preston is a two-time graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University having earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism in May of 2018 and most recently completing his Master's in Organizational Leadership degree in April.
Preston comes to Due West from Nashville where he served as Trevecca's graduate assistant for sports information collecting experience covering all 15 NCAA Division II sponsored sports.
During his undergrad at Trevecca, Preston got his start in the media writing for the student newspaper,
The TrevEchoes and later worked his way into covering high school sports for
The Tennessean, the largest newspaper in the state of Tennessee.
Upon becoming Trevecca's graduate assistant for sports information in July of 2018, Preston transitioned out of his role at The Tennessean.
Preston originally hails from Lexington, Kentucky and resides in Anderson.
